MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been affected through his worldwide impact. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN, his first long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. The following year he was a part of Ozuna for the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. The group released Dopamina the chart-topping sophomore album the year following. Later, in 2021, he sang a duet in 2021 with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is from an musical family, as both his parents and brother are also musicians. In interviews he has described playing music as an obligation. In his early years, he learned to play saxophone guitar as well as piano and ukulele.
