Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress who is best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. The actress was initially famous for her 1980s role in Tezaab where she co-starred with an established actor Anil Koopor. Next, she appeared with Aamir on Dil. Born into a Mumbai middle class family and began to dance when she was a child. At the age of 15, she started acting but had a difficult time as a majority of her films were flops. She eventually became one of the most famous actresses in Indian film. After marriage, she experienced a break in her career before re-entering the business. Recently, she was one of the main characters in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit is nominated to win fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. The actress was also honoured with her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian award in India. In addition, she is recognized for her charity work.
